Kei and Yuri are trouble consultants for the WWWA, known officially as "The Lovely Angels", have gained the unflattering nickname of "The Dirty Pair". They don't actually do anything obscene, but, they do manage to get into a whole lot of trouble. I used to have Dirty Pair Flash on subtitled VHS. I didn't really enjoy this revamped incarnation of the Dirty Pair as much as the original Dirty Pair movies and in the aftermath of the Ultimate Otaku Fall Cleanup, I decided not to keep it in my archive. I gave Dirty Pair Flash a 1 out of 5.

Mission 1
Act 1
Look out universe! When the galaxy-wide World Welfare and Works Agency unleashes the infamous Dirty Pair, it's every sentient being for itself! From the best-selling novels by Haruhiko Takachiho comes the apocalyptic saga of two young women destined to go down in history as the most destructive force known to man. Meet Kei and Yuri, two junior level agents with a proclivity for being in the wrong place at the wrong time with just enough firepower to blow their way out of a bad situation into something worse. It all starts when Yuri is playing hooky from work and a dying man gives her a secret computer card. Can the Lovely Angels evade an army of henchmen, run a police gauntlet and unlock the secrets encoded on the card in time to save the universe? Or will they just level all the real estate in their path?
Act 2
Chasing a crazed neuro-junkie and with a deadly assassin on their tails, Kei and Yuri are back in the thick of the action as the interplanetary pandemonium continues in DIRTY PAIR FLASH, Act 2! Kei's relentless pursuit of the assassin, Lady Flair, leads to a frozen planet and a deadly confrontation. Then, Yuri makes a crash dive into cyber-space to retrieve a crazed neuro-junkie, who happens to be the only one who can decipher the computer card containing Waldess' plans! The odds are against them (and so is their track record) as the 3WA's most dangerous agents run rampant in DIRTY PAIR FLASH, Act 2!
Act 3
It's the biggest bang ever as the universe's most underrated agents return for another installment of unnatural disasters and pyrrhic victories! Massive space fleets, killer kindergartners, gun-wielding stewardesses and baby head-bangers are only a few of the obstacles Kei and Yuri must overcome to stop a madman from taking over the universe through the galactic communications system! Fighting for Truth, Justice and the 3WA, it's the Lovely Angels in the spectacular, planet-shattering climax of DIRTY PAIR FLASH!
Mission 2
Act 1
Their codename: Lovely Angels. Their assignment: Protect a computer trouble-shooter from assassination. Their goal: Sow as many wild oats as possible on the number one party planet! Unfortunately, both plans are shot to hell (along with a number of innocent bystanders) when the wonderful world of Worlds World suddenly becomes the magic kingdom of death! With a gang of android hit-women and cross-dressing assassins on their tails, the Lovely Angels find out that it's a very small world after all when a mysterious killer wants them dead! The ultimate vacation becomes the ultimate nightmare as the deadly chase leads Kei and Yuri through haunted houses, five-star restaurants and a painstaking recreation of the most barbaric century of all: the 20th!
Act 2
Whoops! Just when you thought is was safe to come out, Kei and Yuri are back in another set of explosive misadventures. How explosive? Well, that mad bomber the girls thought they had stopped is back and now the entire planet is a giant munitions testing range with the Lovely Angels as clay pigeons! Meanwhile, the computer programmer that the Pair were originally assigned to protect has run into a few new problems that will need solving as well. Do the words Armageddon, apocalypse or interstellar cataclysm mean anything to you? The 3WA's most dangerous agents of disaster are at it again in the planet-busting conclusion of Dirty Pair Flash Mission 2!
Mission 3
Act 1
The infamous Kei and Yuri are back in three brand new episodes! First, Kei finds her billion-dollar baby on the snow-covered slopes of a remote mountain range. However, can even a godmother's love save him from a machine gun wielding ski patrol? Then, when dive bombing seagulls and acidic swimming pools interrupt a well deserved vacation, the Pair must avoid becoming a young assassin's first kills. But stopping the Sweet Fairy will be no teddy bear's picnic! Finally, to flush out a corporate crime lord, the Lovely Angels must win the Galaxy Cup Volleyball Tournament. First, however, they have to survive training camp.
Act 2
The Big Bang was nothing compared to the Dirty Pair! When Kei inadvertently destroys a Yuri look-alike robot, it upsets a young fan of Yuri's so much that his rich grandfather threatens to withdraw monetary support of the 3WA! Can a real flesh and blood Yuri take the place of a metal idol and save the 3WA from financial ruin?
A galactic terrorist seeks revenge against the man who put him away, Chief Poporo. Will the Lovely Angels risk their lives to save their chief, or will they decide to risk their manicures doing paperwork instead?
