In Another World With My Smartphone...
In Another World With My Smartphone seemed like something I might enjoy...
As In Another World With My Smartphone begins, in true harem fashion, Touya quickly acquires two female companions and the trio proceed to go out on adventures saving damsels in distress and other heroic activities. During Touya's early adventures, he acquires a third female companion. Touya quickly discovers that where others have an aptitude for handling one or two types of magic like water, fire or earth, he has an aptitude for all types of magic. In addition, Touya finds that once he encounters or learns about a magic spell, he can replicate that spell at will. Later, Touya finds that he can string spells together and even use his smartphone to make horrendously complicated spells.
As In Another World With My Smartphone progresses, Touya adds more and more girls to his burgeoning harem. And, after finding himself engaged to a princess, Touya moves into his own mansion complete with a host of maids and a butler. During the course of the series, Touya racks up an impressive harem of at least nine women. There is some fan service including panty shots, skimpy attire, slime that dissolves clothing and some breast fondling, but, there are no naughty bits and the fan service is quite tame. There is some action in the series, but, the series is largely bloodless. Overall, In Another World With My Smartphone was very entertaining and fairly fast paced. I would give In Another World With My Smartphone a 4 out of 5.
Touya Mochizuki is killed. To make it up to him, God grants Touya a second chance at life in a fantastic new world. Adventure, fame, fortune, and a harem of cute girls await him across this otherworldly realm. But despite being a magical and physical prodigy, balancing the affections of his companions with his day-to-day activities is one challenge he's definitely not prepared for!In a premise similar to the classic live-action movie Here Comes Mr. Jordan, In Another World With My Smartphone updates this classic tale and adds a magical twist of its own. After Touya dies unexpectedly in our world, he has a meeting with God and as part of the bargain for being brought back to life, Touya asks for his smartphone to still work in the non-technological realm where magic use is commonplace. Touya is a nice easy-going guy and although he finds the circumstances a bit inconvenient, Touya handles this unusual situation with surprising calm.
