Iron Virgin Jun...

Just because Go Nagai's name was on the box, I picked up the VHS version of Iron Virgin Jun...
Family values like you've never seen them before! In the Asuka Family, nothing is more important then family tradition, but for their lovely young daughter Jun, it means she must get married on her 18th birthday! Now although poor little virgin Jun is not above kickin' some butt, she just can't stand the thought of marrying someone she just doesn't love. What's a girl to do? Unfortunately for her mother, who has gone through all sorts of machinations to auction Jun off to the highest bidder, she runs away with Kurate, a trusted servant. Convinced that Jun's aversion to marriage comes from her lack of familiarity with sex, Mrs. Asuka hires a gang to hunt down Jun and the missing servant. Their orders are to catch her and bring her back home, after having a little fun of their own with her to show her that sex isn't all that bad. Little do they know what a tough cookie this romantic 18-year-old is. Why do you think she's called "Iron Virgin Jun" anyway?

Ordinarily, Go Nagai's name is enough to guarantee a good time. But, Iron Virgin Jun was not as much fun as I was hoping. I used to have the subtitled VHS version. I gave Iron Virgin Jun a 1 out of 5. In the aftermath of the Ultimate Otaku Fall Cleanup, I decided not to keep Iron Virgin Jun in my archive.
