Space Patrol Luluco...

The premise of Space Patrol Luluco is a bit silly, but, it also seemed like something I might enjoy...
Luluco's dad has been frozen in a block of ice, and there's only one way for this middle schooler to pay for the treatment--by taking his place in the Space Patrol! It's a total pain, until she gets partnered with some perfect crush material, a.k.a. the handsome Nova from outer space. After her hometown of Ogikubo gets sucked into a black hole, it's up to Luluco and a bunch of weirdos to track it down.
Space Patrol Luluco is just zany outrageous fun along the lines of Space Pirate Mito, but, in a much more condensed manner as each episode is only about eight minutes. So, with less than two hours of content total, the series flies by at a frenetic pace. Although some series do not benefit from shorter run times, Space Patrol Luluco seems to work well with the short run times. There are no naughty bits to speak of in the series. Overall, Space Patrol Luluco is very silly and may not be for everyone, but, in my humble opinion, I felt it was still quite entertaining. I gave Space Patrol Luluco a 3 out of 5.
