I Won An Award...

Way back when GeoCities was a newly acquired part of the Yahoo empire, I won the Aurora Outstanding Site Award on May 4th, 2000 at approximately 1:45:02 in the afternoon.
Hi! My name is Ariel and I am a Community Leader in Area51.

 . . .

Yours Truly,
Ariel
There used to be a link to the Aurora Community Center, but, I checked the site one day and found a brief statement from Ariel stating that the site was "no longer viable". Shortly afterwards, the site was gone. This was around the time that Yahoo! had acquired GeoCities. There was a great deal of unrest associated with the transition, particularly among the Community Leaders. GeoCities hosted this site at the time and it was indeed a very unhappy time for all concerned. Although I don't have any evidence to support my claim, I suspect that the Aurora Community Center was among the early casualties of the transition.
