Sleepy Princess In The Demon Castle...
I took the opportunity to watch Sleepy Princess In The Demon Castle aka Maoujou de Oyasumi...
Sleepy Princess In The Demon Castle is fairly silly, but, the series still managed to feel very refreshing. Each episode features a handful a quests in which the princess either outwits the demons or just brutally manhandles the demons to get what she wants. Interspersed with our heroine's escapades, we find our intrepid, but, clueless, hero, Dawner, enduring a never-ending series of trials and setbacks in a futile effort to rescue the princess. Overall, Sleepy Princess In The Demon Castle was a lot of fun to watch. Sometimes, I almost felt sorry for the demons as the princess is ruthless in matters involving sleep. I would give Sleepy Princess In The Demon Castle a 4 out of 5.
The Demon Lord Tasogare's castle is a dark and frightening place, filled to the brim with various monsters. Any soul unfortunate enough to be imprisoned here is sure to be terrified by the horrors within. However, the human princess Aurora Suya Rhys (Syalis) Kaymin is a different case. Rather indifferent to her situation, Syalis worries about one thing and one thing only -- sleep. Ever since the demon lord kidnapped her from her kingdom, she has not had a single good night's rest.In Sleepy Princess In The Demon Castle, our intrepid heroine, Princess Syalis, could teach Sleeping Beauty a thing or two about expert power napping. After being abducted by demons, the princess, finds herself in a shabby cell with an uncomfortable bed and a cheap pillow and scratchy sheets that are totally unsuitable for sleeping. So, our heroine decides to venture out on a scavenger hunt looking for just the right materials for a proper night's rest. The princess fearlessly roams the castle and rudely walks all over the resident demons to achieve her goals -- she is relentless.
To alleviate her dozen dozing issues, the princess makes do with what she can find in the castle. Whether it be the fur of fluffy demonic teddy bears or the silky, blanket-like bodies of ghost shrouds, everything is but a means to ensure a peaceful slumber. With so many potential materials to craft items that can help her sleep at her disposal, nothing will stop the sleepy princess -- not even death.
