Genius Prince's Guide To Raising A Nation Out Of Debt...

I thought it would be fun to watch the Genius Prince's Guide To Raising A Nation Out Of Debt...
The king of Natra has fallen ill, leaving the only hope for his kingdom to his son, Prince Wein Salema Arbalest. Known to be capable and wise, he is the perfect candidate to become the prince regent. However, if the prince has anything to say about the matter, he would rather sell off the Kingdom of Natra to the highest bidder!

Since he wields the authority of the throne, no one can stop Wein from auctioning off the country and using the profits to retire in comfort. All he needs to do is raise the value of the small kingdom to maximize his gains. But whether Wein's grand plan will succeed remains to be seen, as his wit often surpasses even his own expectations -- much to the benefit of the oblivious citizens of Natra.

However, when Prince Wein accidentally ends up bettering the kingdom, his dreams of retirement are replaced with work that'll require wisdom and wit.
Our story finds Prince Wein as he plots his slow life as a man of wealth and leisure. Events conspire against him as the neighboring kingdom decides to attack. Wein, with his partner Ninym, come up with a countering strategy, that is both cost effective as Wein's treasury is almost depleted and cunning. Just as Wein's strategy appears to succeed beyond his wildest expectations, events escalate from a small local squabble to a larger scale regional conflict that threaten not only Wein's modest profit margins, but, the very existence of his own country. Then, as if that weren't bad enough, Wein finds himself embroiled in a religious conflict that could destabilize the entire continent.

Even though Wein plays the part of a slacker, he's actually much more brilliant than his most people realize. In his rousing speech to the troops, Wein mentions a handful of the assembled thousands of soldiers by name, thus inspiring his troops on the field of battle even more. Afterwards, Wein's General, asks Wein if he staged the call out those specific soldiers in advance. And, Wein replies that he made up the call outs on the spot. He suggests that it wasn't that difficult to memorize all of the soldiers' names as they are a small country with only ten thousand soldiers. The General was stunned. Later, we find that Ninym has a cherished spot in Wein's heart and woe to the fool that insults Ninym or her people -- the Flahm. The series was indeed a lot of fun to watch. There's plenty of red ink spilled both on and off the field of battle. Although there is a ubiquitous bath scene, there are no naughty bits. I gave the Genius Prince's Guide To Raising A Nation Out Of Debt a 4 out of 5.
