After being betrayed by the Hero's party, Red hopes to start anew by opening an apothecary in a small town. He wants to keep his past life secret, but it won't be easy...especially when a beautiful adventurer from his past asks to move in.

Gideon, now called Red has left the adventurer's life behind to set up a modest shop in a remote village. Then, one day, Rit, a fellow adventurer and occasional princess from his former party shows up. They reminisce for a while and eventually she decides to move in and help out her friend with his business. Meanwhile, members of Red's former party are looking for a reunion with their former member. Life for Red becomes complicated when, events escalate as a drug epidemic, of all things, is spreading through the country and has even reached Red's remote village resulting in incidents of random violence and murder.

Sinister forces are involved and a confrontation between those forces, Red and his allies, and members of Red's former party seems inevitable. There are a couple ubiquitous bath scenes with some bare skin including some bare bottoms and a few bare breasts with no nipples, but, no actual naughty bits or loss of modesty. There's plenty of red ink as we see glimpses in flashbacks of Red's former life and the aftermath of drug-fueled violence. The pace of events is a bit slower than I would like, but, I liked Banished From The Hero's Party, I Decided To Live A Quiet Life In The Countryside and gave it a 3 out of 5.
