Great Cleric...

I thought the Great Cleric would be interesting...

After his untimely death, this salaryman gets another shot at life! When Luciel is reborn into a magical new land, he becomes a healer in hopes of leading a peaceful life. However, he quickly learns that being a healer is much more challenging than he expected. With strict and strenuous training in store, this new life is turning out to be anything but peaceful.

Luciel arrives in a new world with a healing skill and with a bit of luck he gets room, board and training as a healer. He ends up at the adventurers' guild where they introduce him to a horrible drink to help him with his training. As thanks for the guild's help, Luciel, offers to help heal any adventurers in need. This act of generosity does not go unpunished by profit-minded rivals among the healers as he is then transferred far away and finds himself clearing out monsters in a dungeon in the service of the church that manages the healers guild.

Luciel's ties with the church become stronger as his acts of generosity in healing adventurers and his success in the dungeon bring acclaim. A clash between the church leadership and the healers guild leadership becomes inevitable with Luciel in between. There are no naughty bits and only a little red ink as we only see the aftermath of the adventurers' work. I really enjoyed this series and Luciel's antics throughout. I gave the Great Cleric a 5 out of 5. Originally, having only watched the stream, this series would have received a lower score, but, with physical media in-hand, the Great Cleric can get a top score.
