KamiErabi God.App...

I started watching KamiErabi God.App...

The ultimate battle royale for divinity has begun. High schoolers must use their unique powers to compete against each other for the coveted title God. But as each brawl becomes more vicious than the last, alliances are formed and betrayals take place. Who will emerge victorious and claim their godly throne?

I'm not really a fan of the schoolyard battleground genre, but, I have dabbled a bit in the genre and have found some examples that were pretty good. I was hoping for something interesting, but, in my opinion, I wasn't really thrilled with this series. The animation style is reminiscent of one I've seen before, where the characters look less real than the environment they inhabit. Although, I will admit that the animation in the series was not as grating as it could have been. Animation style aside, I will also freely admit that there's definitely plenty of eye candy and red ink for those who enjoy this genre.

I understand that, survival of the fittest is a key theme in this genre, but, I got the impression that these kids were a bit more mean-spirited than I would prefer. The series didn't appeal to me on more than a few levels, but, I won't stop you from watching. I never actually finished watching, so, I couldn't say for certain whether or not there are any naughty bit. I suspect the kids are too busy being underaged and killing each other to care about being naughty, but, don't quote me on that. I gave KamiErabi God.App a 1 out of 5.
