I picked up the Ancient Magus' Bride...
One of my favorite scenes occurs when Chise encounters an ancient dragon near the end of its life and the two join minds and commune together. Chise uses her power to allow the dragon to feel the exhilaration of flying once more before its eventual end. It was a beautiful and touching moment in the first season.
In the second season, Chise and Elias go to school. Chise attends as a student and Elias as a teacher. I'm particularly fond of the talking cats as dorm matrons.
The series as a whole is somewhat dark and brooding, but, in the second season it becomes even more so, with the revelation that there are sinister forces inclined towards attacking the school and its residents.
I purchased the first season and the streamed the second season. There is one bath sequence, but no actual naughty bits. There is some violence and some red ink in the series. Overall, the series is fairly dark and moody. I liked the first season a bit more than the second. Generally the pace of the series is a bit slower than I would prefer and gave the Ancient Magus' Bride a 4 out of 5.
